Basic Poker Starting Hands – Limit Texas Hold'em E-mail
This is a full list of Limit Hold Em poker hands that you should be playing.  An “x” in a hand means “any card”.  An “s” next to the hand means “suited”.

Any Pair, AK, AQ, AJs, Axs, KQ, KJs, KTs, QJs, QTs, JTs, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s

Below are how to play each poker starting hand preflop.  This chart is based on the odds of winning a hand.  Premium poker hands such as AKs or KK can be raised or reraised from any position due to their strength while hands such as 87s need to have at least 3 – 4 people already in the hand for you to join because this satisfies the pot odds and chances of you winning a big pot if you hit a monster poker hand.
