Poker: An Introduction |

Poker is said to take minutes to learn, but a lifetime to master. It is simple to learn the basic rules of poker, hand rankings, and other basics of poker. Nevertheless, this simple card game can become complicated once all the little nuances come together and you add other players into the action. Poker is played with 52 cards which are ranked from high to low in the following order: A, K, Q, J, T, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Aces are usually high but can be used as a 1 when making a straight or a low hand.
